Development and gender in the global south

This publication aims to contribute, in a Brazilian and Latin American perspective, for the debate on women’s role in development. This is a debate that needs strengthening, as well as expanding and disseminating within women’s movements and more broadly in Southern societies as a whole.

From a feminist economics and women’s rights perspective, we have much to contribute to forge a broad, human and above all equitable dimension in development.
